Copywriting and Blogging Internship

Learn how to develop eye catching campaigns, brand awareness, and web presence through our internship program. You’ll team up with our Copywriters on a daily basis and work on creating attention grabbing content for our websites, blogs, and campaigns. This internship will allow you to start creating a collection of portfolio worthy work to use for future employment.

We are looking for someone who will use their skills and experience to be part of a web start-up in a fun, fast paced environment. As the Copywriting and Blogging Intern you will gain practical experience as a copywriter on realistic web and print projects. You will receive feedback from experienced, full-time professionals in copywriting, editing and creative departments.

The Copywriting and Blogging Internship is designed for college students who have completed classes in advertising, marketing, blogging and copywriting. We are looking for students who are serious about building a strong portfolio and becoming a copywriting professional. Our internships are catered towards the experience and education of our applicants along with what is currently happening in our business. There is a ton of opportunity to work in an area that you feel you will strive in.

Requirements:

• A student pursuing a degree in Copywriting / Advertising or a related field (Junior or Senior preferred)
• Strong writing skill with a keen attention to detail
• A team oriented, hard working individual, who likes to collaborate
• Avid internet user with strong computer skills
• Knowledge of internet marketing concepts
• Social Media and Blogging experience preferred
• Graphics program experience Adobe Photoshop CS3, 4 or 5, Illustrator, and InDesign preferred
• Basic HTML preferred

Details:

• This is an on location internship in Pontiac, Michigan
• Flexible hours (must be able to work a minimum of 30 hours per week)
• Casual work environment
